StarLife donates Bus to Office of Students with Special Needs of the University of Ghana
StarLife Assurance, as part of efforts to facilitate the movement of students with special needs on campus, has donated a 16-seater mini-bus valued at GH¢160,000 to the Office of Students with Special Needs of the University of Ghana.
The donation was necessitated by a distress call from the Vice Chancellor of the University to assist the group.
Present at a short ceremony on 23rd February 2017 to hand over the bus were officials of the University of Ghana; Prof. Kwame Offei, the Pro Vice- Chancellor of Academic and Students Affairs, Dr Awo Asiedu, the Coordinator of OSSN, Mrs. Amoah, the Director of Public Relations, and Executives of StarLife Assurance; Mrs Kakra Duffuor-Nyarko, Executive Director, Mr. Iddrisu Nashiru, Chief Distribution Officer, Mrs. Bernice Ruth Quainoo, Head of Operations, Mr Kwame Asare Boakye, the Head of Strategy and Mr. Samuel Asumang the Head of Retail.
StarLife also distributed a number of corporate souvenirs to the students.
StarLife has been supporting the school since 2008 and has in the past, partnered the University of Ghana Business School, to provide financial literacy to doctors and nurses.
