StarLife Donates To Atomic Gas Explosion Victims

StarLife Assurance, the 3rd largest life insurance company has again exhibited its commitment to being a socially responsible organization by donating medical supplies to victims of the Atomic Gas Explosion at 37 Military Hospital Allied Ward.

The donation was in response to 37 Military Hospital’s appeal for assistance to care for the victims of the Atomic gas explosion which occurred on 7th October 2017.

Items donated include non-consumables like Microwave Oven, bedsheets, glucometers, thermometers, sphygmomanometers, pulse oximeters and consumables like crepe bandages, Silver Sulphurdizine Cream, Vaseline gauze and cotton wool, among others.

Presenting the items to the Commanding Officer Brig. Gen. Ralph Kojo Ametepi, the Executive Director of StarLife Assurance, Mrs. Kakra Duffuor- Nyarko stated that at StarLife, empathy is a core value and is consistently expressed in business engagement with customers and partners. The call to support the victims was thus in alignment with StarLife’s business values.

The Company has also donated a brand new 16-seater mini-bus to Office of Students with Special Needs of the University of Ghana, Legon; presented 100 bags of cement to Ghana Prisons Training School; constructed a mechanized borehole for Yeji Prisons, donated classroom furniture to the Air force School of Trade Training, among others.
